Raspberry Pi VPN Travel Router

Open to network & security roles

Network engineer.
I build the tools I use.

I'm Adam El Hejaji. I design and build networks: routing and switching, firewalls and VPNs. In my spare time I build open-source macOS, iOS and web software. My Raspberry Pi VPN travel router won Silver at ESTE'25.

NetLens window listing connections grouped by app, with listening ports highlighted and addresses masked

macOS 14+SwiftNetworkingMIT

NetLens

A native macOS network monitor. It shows every TCP and UDP socket grouped by app, with live per-connection speeds, TCP state, interface and highlighted listening ports. Each process gets a code-signature label, and you can search, mask addresses for screenshots and export to JSON or CSV.

macOS 14+SwiftSecurityMIT

TapWatch

A menu-bar app that shows which programs can read your keyboard, the hook keyloggers rely on. ElectronJavaScriptFork

Stretchly for macOS

My fork of the open-source break-reminder app. I redesigned the UI to feel native on macOS, drew a new app icon, logo and tray icons, and added pausing breaks while the camera is in use (#969). I also fixed a crash when quitting during a break and a colour-swatch bug.

Restaurant POS

Features and fixes for an open-source restaurant POS, two PRs of which were merged upstream. I added QR table self-ordering with Stripe/PayPal checkout that goes straight to the kitchen display. I also built per-shift cash closings, HR and payroll improvements, and many fixes.

How I work

I start by asking what the problem is, explain changes in plain language, document as I go, and follow up until the issue is closed. I'm comfortable doing live demos and presenting to judges, management and customers.
